Estate Asset Distribution Plan: Matching House, Land & Savings to Heirs

Faraid fractions are the same for all property — but a house cannot be "cut" like cash. List the movable & immovable assets and get a suggested plan: who receives which asset, and the balancing payments that make it fair.

What is the Asset Distribution Plan?

The Asset Distribution Plan is a planning tool in eFaraid: once each heir's faraid share is known, it helps the family match actual assets — house, land, vehicles, savings — to specific heirs, and calculates balancing payments so the value each heir receives exactly matches their entitlement.

It is ideal for family discussions: try several arrangements (for example, who takes the house) and see how each choice affects the balancing payments automatically.

Why does distribution planning matter?

Takharuj is the most practical tool for avoiding fragmented ownership — land with 20 registered owners is nearly impossible to manage. With takharuj, one heir can own the asset outright by offering fair consideration to the others, and the estate is settled with family ties intact.

How it works

  1. Calculate the faraid first — determine each heir's share with the faraid calculator. The exiting heir must know their actual share — consent without knowledge is incomplete. That is why you calculate the faraid FIRST, then negotiate.
  2. List the assets — movable property (cash, vehicles, shares) and immovable property (house, land), with estimated values.
  3. Match & review — choose who receives which asset; balancing payments are calculated automatically so every heir receives exactly their due.

Once the faraid shares are established, heirs may mutually agree to receive specific assets in place of their shares — for a mutually agreed consideration; this rests on the same basis as takharuj.

The generated plan is a proposal for family discussion — the final agreement requires the consent of all heirs, and official transfer of ownership still goes through the estate administration channels (JKPTG/Amanah Raya/the courts).

💡 In the eFaraid Asset Distribution Plan, change the recipient of any asset and the balancing-payment table is recalculated instantly — until every heir receives exactly their due.
